Gardens are better viewed and understood in person. The first step in the design process is meeting you and your garden.
1-1.5 hour onsite meeting, where we get to talk through your ideas, view your garden space, discuss your vision, outline the budget and answer any questions you may have about the garden design process.
Price $250 inc GST + travel fee if outside of Geelong
If you are happy after the consultation, we can move onto the garden design.
Concept
At this stage, Hamish will measure the space, test the pH of the soil whilst developing an understanding of your garden's micro environments. From here, Hamish will present a concept design, which will include plant and layout suggestion, design intention, mood board and overall goals of the garden.
Documentation
Once the concept plan is approved, Hamish will draw up the garden design using AutoCAD. These drawings are technical drawings which outline the layout and set out of the garden, including dimensions, planting schedule and any other additional information needed to help get your garden up and growing. These drawings can be passed onto a landscaper to help you implement the garden.

If you would like further help with making your garden a reality, Hamish can work alongside you to engage a local landscaper to install the hardscape elements of your design. Towards the end of the installation process Hamish will correctly place all plants to ensure the design remains true to its integrity.

At this stage garden care is only available to those gardens I have designed and implemented.
